This video shows the suggested method of bypassing the f1 fuse that Eding1 had suggested as a fix on this forum. www.fixya.com Bypassing fuses is generally a bad idea, a VERY bad idea. If you are unwilling to take the risk of damage to your computer and or USB hub and or the circuitry in the wireless receiver, then do not perform this method.
This is my first time modding anything like this. So, this was a "guinea pig." To give me more soldering experience before I tackle my next project..adding a PulseVU 2x and LEDs to my xbox 360. I was going to change the LEDs of the ring of light around the guide button. But, I messed up some of the contact points. I then was just going to wire up the guide button to the rumble motors, but decided to get some LED and resistor soldering experience and put LEDs in the buttons. The green and yellow are really dim due to them being pretty low intensity. The red, yellow, and green button is on one resistor connected to the 3v power source. The blue didn't need a resistor. The guide button also has low intensity LEDs, I will buy my LEDs online instead of RadioShack and get some brighter ones next time. There are four 3mm red LEDs in the guide button and connected to the rumble motor on the ride side of the controller. The only thing really wrong with the final job is the "A" button isn't as sensitive, and the "X" inside the X button got damaged when I drilled it out. This is to see how it goes, I will take it slow. To change the LEDs: I will start at (per controller) That should cover time and LEDs used.
